Check in each day for a little bit of magic…
Card of the Day
The Seven of Swords…
You are up to something, aren’t you? Right now it’s a good idea to keep this to yourself. Sneaking around can feel intense, but you are sworn to secrecy in this endeavor and you can sense the urgency of protecting what you know. This instinct is correct, because others want what you have and they are onto you. You are incredibly cunning, but your mysterious energy has not gone unnoticed. Stay strong in this momentary deception. Operate like a master spy, moving though your days undetected, but utilizing your heightened awareness to absorb the information you need to support your secret venture. You will know when the time is right to reveal what you’ve been holding back and the impact of your divulgence will reverberate with intensity, just as you hoped it might.

Judgement…
Let’s explore! Take a look in the mirror and write down all of the things you see there, staring back at you. What do you notice about yourself and how does that make you feel? Yes, write that down, too. Now, close your eyes and imagine that the very same mirror is a door or a portal. What you see when you look into it evaporates and the refracted light behind the mirror is calling to you. Step on through and follow the music of that beam of light as far as it will take you. Here, you encounter another mirror, but in this mirror there is a deeper reflection of who you are and the all of the potential you hold. Take a moment here to hear the melody of your spirit and feel the majesty of your soul. There is an unshakeable balance in this moment where you meet your truest essence. If you feel it, bring it back with you when you come back through the prisms of that first mirror. Now tear up that list - it’s just the surface and it’s inconsequential. You are so much more.
“When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the real you, or what you have been conditioned to believe is you?” - David Icke

King of Cups - Hermit (Reversed)…
My Light Seer’s Deck was very talkative this morning and here’s what those cards had to say… You feel like you are ready to take the lead on something - a project or relationship or just becoming the master of your own domain. You are a natural visionary, but before you can truly step into that leadership role you crave, you must achieve clarity in how you would like to lead. There is a level of calm required in order for you to present yourself with authority to others. Connect with your deep reasoning and sift through all matters of the heart related to this situation. The more you feel internally at ease, the more you will inspire others. Respect doesn’t have to be fought for, but it should be earned. Feeling trumps thinking for you, but if you can combine them together with a sense of tranquility and ease, you could rule the world!

The Eight of Emotions (Cups)…
You are moving forward and leaving behind a temporary period of darkness. The shadows that cast themselves in your heart were actually incredibly revealing. In fact, you may have discovered a great deal about who you are and who you want to be in those shady areas of your spirit. Sifting through the murkier pieces of your psyche was difficult, but necessary so that you might grow into the version of yourself that is meant to be. Right now, it may feel a little bit like you are walking away from something, but the truth is you are advancing out of the shadows and into the unknown light of your own destiny. Stand tall and walk with confidence - you have earned it. Take the lead. You can now let that shadow-self follow behind you, where they belong.

The Page of Coins…
If you are experiencing frustration regarding money and earnings, it might be time to think SMALL! I know you want to make a lot of money right away, but it’s time to start looking for creative, fresh ways you might be able to enhance your income. Take your frustration and turn it into silliness and wonder. What inspires you? What are you curious about? What do you have at your disposal that you might be able to turn into extra dollars? There might be ways of attracting money that haven’t even crossed your mind and they might be (dare I say it?)….FUN! Connect with that industrious inner child - they may have ideas for you…Be resourceful and inventive, especially when you are feeling all options have run dry. Squeeze that lemon - there’s more there!

The Seven of Chalices…
Lately, you may have felt like you were sinking, instead of swimming in the emotional content of your life. But, it’s time to rise to the surface and see the exciting possibilities that hover all around you! Matters of the heart run deep, but you can ascend to the dreams you want to fulfill, if you believe in the many options you have dancing at your fingertips. Love is one of those options waiting for you, if you can connect to that sense of hope. Hope will allow you to grow and flourish in the sun, as the seed of who you are will be fed by the water of your spirit. Float, swim, rise to the surface, and you will feel the exhilaration of the potential bubbling up all around you to awaken your heart. Welcome the sun and the sky.

The Knight of Wands…
Bust into your weekend with wildness and defiance! You can feel this passionate energy bubbling up in your spirit, so let it ignite. No matter what you have on your agenda approach it with gleeful intensity and don’t hold back. If you feel chaotic, let it take over and dance in the beautiful, creative mess. Yes, this will be a colorful celebration that you paint. It’s inevitable that you will make a little trouble this weekend - don’t worry about the consequences this time - your honest soul will ground you - but let that spirit fly free!

The Ten of Swords - Reversed…
Something you had thought would go your way is not working out in your favor. Defeat is pinning you down in an incredibly debilitating way. Yes, disappointment is painful and failure has crippled you in this moment. The dramatics of this reality are making you feel left out in the cold. You are allowed one day to wallow in this sadness. Relish it, roll around in it, celebrate your misery and all that hard earned hurt. When you are done and have exorcised all of the dark, but dishonest thoughts about how this moment reflects on who you are, it’s time to notice the new day dawning and start a path towards the sun. Whatever effort you are grieving was not meant for you anyway. There is something else - something better peaking out at you through all those icy clouds. You deserve better and you will have it.

The Fool…
Yesterday I received a new deck in the mail!!! It’s always magical when you welcome a new deck. I’ve been admiring this artist’s paintings based on the 78 cards for a long time and didn’t realize they had been made into a true deck until another reader mentioned to me that they had gotten this deck! Even more magical - I shuffled today to draw my first card for all of us (and I shuffled a great deal)…but pulled from the middle of the deck - The Fool - the start of all things - the start of a journey! I would say this is a good sign for a healthy and exciting relationship with this deck!!! What does this mean for us today? It’s time to dive in with an open heart. Whatever you have on your plate today, approach it with exhilaration and joy. Don’t think. Don’t gather information. Just trust that what is unknown will reveal itself to you when the time is right. Fly into the sunshine and free-fall with faith that you will land safely and in the right place. Take a chance on yourself - the universe will protect you.

The Nine of Cups…
And tonight let’s embrace a little dream time magic! If you could manifest complete fulfillment in your nighttime dreams, how would that dream materialize for you? Are you floating? Flying? Lounging in luxury? Surrounded by nature? Embraced by the love you never thought you could have? What are the colors in your dream that embody this rich and joyful fulfillment? What sounds? How does fulfillment feel on your skin? And who are you in this delicious moment? How does having everything you need and want change you? Imagine yourself there in that moment drinking in all the delightful experiences you wished you could have. What is it that your heart truly wants for completeness and ease? You may not live in this utopia that you have imagined, but what are the ways you can create or discover these elements in your waking life? You see, you had more power of manifestation than you thought you did…you just needed to allow your heart to dream.

A look at the week ahead…
I was shuffling my Rider/Waite for a card for the week ahead and 3 cards flew out at me. This week, you may find you are bombarded with the urgent needs of other people. They will rush to you in a state of heightened intensity and demand answers of you. You will feel pressured - they are sure persuasive in their neediness - but instead of rushing back at them with solutions, sit back and let them wait a bit. Don’t let them rattle you. Use your powerful calming energy to subdue their anxiety and make sure they know they will have to operate on YOUR time. Share with them the abundance of your sense of ease and grounding. Answers may not help them, but they are drawn to you because of your rooted and healing energy. What they truly need is permission to be still and experience the world in a holistic way. You can bring this awareness to them, by powerfully holding your position, solidifying your personal understanding of their situation and approaching the moment at your own pace. They will be brought to standstill and let’s face it, that is what they need.

A Mother’s Day Message…
Mother energy is one of the most beautiful things. It’s always amazed me - the strong capacity for love, the overwhelming connection that a “mother” has for their children and loved ones. I say “mother” in quotes, because there are all kinds of mothers - aren’t there? Grandmothers, aunties, teachers, close family members, deeply supportive friends…there are so many chances to be “mothered” out there! These cards flew out at me the other day and when I layed them out on the table, I was struck by the simple, yet powerful message that they spoke to me. A “mother” has the difficult challenge of loving more deeply than anyone else, but letting us go despite that connection. We may venture away from our “mothers” in defiance and try so hard to carve our own path, but when we lose our way, that “mother” is always there with magic and fire to lift us up and inspire us. No matter how far we wander and how much we “do not want to be like our mother” we will always return to that love. There is a special, undeniable strength to be found in one who loves despite having their heart broken again and again and never waivers in their dedication to your success and happiness. Whether it’s your mother (in flesh or in spirit), your grandmother, your auntie, your teacher, your caring mentor, your dedicated friend who has “mothered” you along your journey, today, thank them for not giving up on you and always being there, surrounding you with the magic of their love.

Ace of Cups - Reversed…
You’ve been hiding your heart away, protecting it from the elements that pose a threat. This has been smart - your emotional wellness is a treasure, after all. But, now your cup is starting to feel empty. We all need a little connection to fill us with love, desire and hope. I know you feel like the rockiness of those waves are not worth the promise of a little water in your cup, but there’s a glimmer of light, if you choose to see it. And this glimmer is beckoning you to turn yourself around and accept that feeling something scary is much better than feeling nothing at all. Right yourself - crawl out of your cave and ride those waves until your heart is fully renewed!

Justice…
This weekend do NOT hold back - let your true, authentic self reign! You have such a strong and vibrant connection to your personal beliefs and this is a rich part of how you approach the world - why keep it to yourself? Let everyone know who you are and how you think and feel. Sound dangerous? Maybe, but I think you might also find that the juicy parts of who you are are the ones you feel like you have to censor. DON’T! Because, others will respect your free and fierce tone. In fact, they will be drawn to your outright ownership of the values you hold most dear. Still feeling unsure? Before you go to bed tonight, write it all down - a “this is who I am and how I feel” list. Pull out the 3 qualities or beliefs on that list that speak the most to you and make it your theme for the weekend. Approach each situation with these 3 delicious and unapologetic ideas in mind. See how people react. Don’t care how they react - just observe. You are the queen/king/president of your own universe - Step up and flaunt it!

Ace of Wands - Reversed…
When you are passionately fired up about a new opportunity, you may be forgetting a crucial step in your crusade toward success. It’s excellent to get charged up and take action, but don’t lose sight of creating a strong, thoughtful foundation from which you can grow and expand. Before you rush in to set your plan in motion - spend a decent amount of time laying a specific groundwork, so that when obstacles appear, you can adapt and grow stronger. Look at your opportunity from all angles and plant and nurture those roots. Speaking of roots, are there other people that can help support you in this endeavor? What tools do you have at your disposal that will reinforce your mission? Where are your personal deficits and how might you mend them? You get the picture! If you want to blossom, you will need healthy roots.

The Six of Wands…
Nature’s mysteries can be an everyday reminder of our own beauty and resilience. Butterflies are an obvious symbol of transformation, resurrection and renewal, filling us all with hope by just existing. But, they also can remind us of the lengths at which we will go to protect our uniqueness and rise above the threats of everyday obstacles. Today, take a moment to recognize how you do the same. You are unique. You are resilient. You are enough. And, your everyday struggles come and go, but you continue to stay afloat and color the world around you with your vibrance . Knowing this, you should celebrate it and celebrate yourself. Spread your wings and show the world how proud you are to exist by sharing the myriad of colors that make you who you are.

The King of Cups…
The emotional support you provide for others has the power to illuminate the colorful possibilities they hold within and navigate them to bigger ideas. You may sometimes feel the weight of this burden deeply, but it is your high level of emotional intelligence that keeps others afloat. Strange that you don’t yet recognize this as an asset. It’s time for you to embrace your own mastery and embody the leader within. Your caring and healing energy is needed in this capacity by the ones who rely on you. Sensitivity is strength. Compassion can provide structure. You aren’t drowning - you are buoyantly uplifting others to sail in the direction of their dreams and in doing so, you are fulfilling your own destiny with quiet, soulful authority.

The Magician - Reversed…
There’s nothing worse than feeling disconnected from your magic - energy depleted, turned upside-down and wishing that you could somehow rekindle your spirit and rediscover your sense of flow. Pulling this card today, I did feel a kind of listlessness - energy depleted as if I were a video game character on their last life. How can we recharge our batteries and level up when we feel so lost? By recognizing that we are a part of the four elements - the four tools by which we create our magic, so there’s always, at least a small spark of personal sorcery at play. When you feel lost, you need to find it, but the real lesson is just that it has always been there. Think about our old time favorite story, The Wizard of Oz - the Scarecrow, the Lion, the Tinman and Dorothy. Dorothy was lost and felt adrift, but the elements by which she needed to be fulfilled were already at her disposal and she had the magic all along. If you feel adrift, let those elements surround you and just know that the magic is there - within.

Three Cards for Sunday…
There is someone in your life who is stunting your growth. Perhaps, when they entered your life, they represented to you quite the opposite, providing you with the support you needed to thrive. But, it’s time to admit this has changed and you have changed. There is an undeniable toxicity in this relationship now and you must move on. You cannot know what lies ahead and you may feel the loss of what you once had, but you must move forward if you wish to grow. The sadness and disappointment is momentary and you will pull through it. Let the knowledge of your situation steer you in a new direction and welcome the free and exhilarating feeling of fresh possibilities. Once you are through this transition, you will be ready to take a thrilling chance on a better life. Make a decision to roll those dice. Bet on yourself.

Enrich your encounters by heightening your connection to your sight, sound, smell, taste and touch. Feel and sense the magic of each moment.vYou deserve the wholeness of what is being offered to you. By recognizing that you hold the key to accessing the full experience of the world, your fulfillment will multiply and your adventures will transcend the ordinary.
