Card of the Day
The Two of Cups (Reversed) into the King of Pentacles…
This morning I had a test - like a literal test and I was….nervous! But, I was also quite amused by my own nervousness - I mean, after all, what part of life ISN’T a test?!? I was trying to keep it all in perspective, but I decided to ask the cards for a bit of guidance. As I shuffled 2 cards flew out of the deck. I looked at them and thought, “Welp, this is NOT going to go the way I think it should, but seems to ultimately work out?” It was clear - I was going to be thrown a curveball. What might normally feel like a united effort and offer a sense of calm, would be disrupted. But when…how?!? The thoughts in my mind were swirling and anxiety tried to overtake me. As the test was in progress - the curveball came fast and furious. What I thought would be a perfect partnering felt disrupted by external forces and I found myself in unknown territory, wondering what to do. But, instead of freaking out and acting in a rash, reactive manner, I maintained my sense of calm and control and allowed for those disturbances to exist without letting them overwhelm me. It became very clear in the moment how these two cards were manifesting and I laughed on the inside. If you feel interference or you are thrown a curveball, don’t let it rattle you, my friends. Ground yourself, focus, take your best crack at it and trust that the universe has got your back. Despite life’s curveballs, I passed the test and you will, too - whatever test you are experiencing. Keep your eye on the ball and your feet on the ground.
“You can’t control the curve balls life throws at you, so you have to learn how to control yourself and change quickly to make sure the curve ball doesn’t knock you out.” - Mark Edwards

The Ace of Swords…
Let the thoughts of your day coalesce as you move into the activities of the night. Channel them in a way that aligns your core with an electrified sense of focus. Take a minute to breathe and calm the mind. Create space for the cloudy, unnecessary thoughts to clear and shine a light on what is remaining. What message do these remaining concepts offer? Follow that message, even if it doesn’t yet make sense and allow it to illuminate the journey into your night. While in that experiences of following your thoughts where they lead you, what else emerges? How might you use these new perceptions of your own reality to make some really vibrant changes for yourself? Tonight your mind can give birth to a whole universe of brilliant ideas, if you are ready for it, so take flight and accept your mission like a mythical creature learning to fly.

The Seven of Swords…
I see you sneaking around. You are up to something and sometimes it can be really good to up to something. But, why so secretive? Ok, you don’t have to tell me, especially if you know it’s to your advantage. Stealing others ideas or thoughts, manipulating a situation to get what you want and need, fixing issues undercover - all of these things can be thrilling and necessary, but if you really want to get away with this dangerous deceit, step lightly as you slowly creep off. Even if you don’t wake the Dragon, will it chase you once you have gotten away? It might…so think ahead and be ready.

The Five of Wands…
Sometimes we create our own conflict. Heck - OFTEN we create our own conflict. Working with others can be challenging, but if you approach collaboration with team spirit, it can be incredible! When you think of it, if there is an army of people working toward a singular goal, it should increase the chance of success substantially. In fact, sometimes a real flow of teamwork can change the direction of a project toward an even greater vision. BUT, all of the contributors have GOT to be working with the same desire to triumph. Respect and understanding are key elements and if you are not willing to listen and adapt, things can come to a very heated standstill. Don’t let your personal ego get in the way of accomplishing great things as a member of a valued team. Work hard and PLAY NICE!

The Death Card…
As a card for our week ahead, this may seem grim. But, lucky number 13 is here to remind you that change is inevitable. In fact, change is one thing in life that is guaranteed. This week, you may be struck with unexpected changes to your life. The more you resist, the harder and more painful it will be. The cloak of death feels dark and ominous, but that is only because what lurks underneath is unseen and unknown. Don’t coil away in fear - unmask it and you will find there is magic hiding there - waiting just for you. This is the magic of transformation. Rebirth lives within if you boldly accept the frightening challenges that change presents to you. When the unknown becomes known, you will experience the dawn of a new version of who you were meant to be. AND you will feel the power of conquering your own terror. Get ready to experience change this week - unmask the hidden, golden potential of self.

Eight of Cups - Reversed…
In your dreams tonight, envision a life free of any and all emotional baggage. If you were to kiss your cognitive understanding of the world goodbye and all emotional content spill out of your soul. As you walk a path of clarity in your dreams, inhabit your spirit as it is intended to be - free of restrictive preconceived notions based on past experiences. With each step you take, leave behind an imprint of any fear, doubt or sadness you carry with you and move forward with peace and purity of self. Open your heart to the cool, naked air and ready yourself to embrace the light on the horizon with joy and curiosity. Where does this magical path lead you and what is waiting for you in that glow of the dawn? You may be surprised what you find. Now, turn around and examine your footprints in the snow. If you travel back to your waking life and recollect each imprint - how has this experience changed the way you feel about that fear, doubt and sadness? When you wake bring this new feeling with you into your new day. Sweet dreams!

Ten of Cups…
Grab your closest buddy and raise a glass together to the fabulous life you inhabit this weekend. Whether your days are full of activity or not, your glass is full of joy and cheer. Can’t see it or feel it yet? Welp, tonight is your chance to claim a brighter tone for your weekend ahead. Invite your bestie to help you initiate the magic that you both rightfully deserve - then honor your most recent accomplishments together. Feel gratitude fill your heart and plan the many ways in which you can honor yourselves and each other. Think dynamically about how you might do this and do not restrict your imagination about the euphoric tribute you can manifest. Experience all the love and joy that the universe has to offer this weekend. You deserve it.

Feeling internally conflicted right at the start of the day? Maybe a little Spring Fever is calling to you? You know you need to remain responsible and reliable with the many things you have on your plate today, but there is a spirit within longing to break free that cannot be ignored. In fact, this joyful urge to shake things up and feel impassioned about life is practically taunting that respectable honor you are clinging to. Do you stay within the lines of your responsibilities? Or do you ditch them and let your inner child out to play? Hmmmm….tempting. Or maybe you can indulge the celebratory spirit in your heart and still accomplish your external obligations? Perhaps, you approach this by finding that in-between? It’s your life - your day - your path - move in the direction that speaks most to you. You get to decide which side of you wins today!

The Three of Pentacles…
Collaboration is key to realizing your goals in the work place. You may not currently comprehend just how important your team members are to your own personal achievements, so it’s time to step up into the idea that they can help you materialize a path to success. If you try to handle it all by yourself, you will find yourself overwhelmed and important components can slip through the cracks. And, what fun is doing everything on your own anyway? Unite with the people that are there to support you. Welcome them into your world with clarity and understanding and let them give you the help you need and deserve. What you build together will set the stage for more work for all and when they need it, they may turn to you next!

The King of Wands - Reversed…
When you meet someone who is visionary, it’s easy to feel inspired to jump on board and support their mission! However, in your current quest, you may want to apply logical reasoning to their approach. Don’t blindly say yes to their every whim because you are fired up about what they stand for. Question it. Their intentions may be good, but their intentions may not be manifesting into healthy action. In fact, when you really dissect the manner in which they are leading everyone in a direction of their own desire, you will start to see how twisted the objective can become. If you must continue to follow, follow with caution. Protect self and others and make a habit of setting reasonable boundaries regarding your involvement. And, it’s ok to retreat. Inspiration is everywhere and perhaps you are not meant to follow.

The Six of Swords…
Are you a person that feels mystified by love? Love can be illusive and you may feel like you are constantly adrift, coming close to the port, but never quite reaching the destination. I know it may seem like you are alone in this, but you are not, my friend. Even those around you who seem to have it all figured out are likely second guessing themselves. Love IS mysterious. When you have it in your life - do you ever truly “have it”? And when you don’t, it can sometimes appear every where you turn. Perhaps it’s time to buddy up and re-direct your sails. Take comfort in knowing there are others out there who feel just as lost. Come together, fix your compass and shift your perspective toward life and the dawn of possibilities. Instead of venturing out into the night with love as your aim, venture into your heart and let love come to you. You may reach your destination sooner than you thought and you’ll do it in good company.

The Ace of Pentacles…
This week opportunity flies in for you to open your heart to a richer experience in love and life! So, what are you waiting for?!? Make the most of it! But first, perhaps you need to dream about what that means to you? I suggest you pour yourself a lush red and slip into a hot bubbly bath with candles blazing, close your eyes and imagine. Envision all the lush ways you can embrace opulence throughout your week. If you want to go big - go BIG and take yourself on a fancy date or plan something glamorous for you and loved one. But, you should also just think of the many ways you can squeeze the juiciness of love out of each moment throughout your week. Trust me, as a result of your own indulgence you will glow from within and that glow will soar out into the universe and attract even greater rewards!

The Ace of Cups…
I’m giving you a little love on this Valentine’s Weekend. This is a strange celebration - right?!? Love is mysterious, hard to grasp and can be illusive. Even when it’s flourishing in our lives, do we really understand it? What we understand, most of all, is how it makes us feel to be loved - though for many of us this feeling is different. Euphoric, warm, exhilarated, cradled, supported and even overwhelmed for just a list of adjectives to describe it. And love can sneak in on you in so many forms. This weekend, I hope you take the time to relish the moments in which you feel love. Whether it’s coming from friends, family, co-workers, partners, pets or self. Notice it and take the time to allow for it to cleanse your spirit. Then, double down - how can you foster that love - help it to grow and expand? You deserve it. And then, all I ask is that you share it with another in return.

The Eight of Cups…
This weekend, you may feel like you are leaving something or someone behind. But this“beautiful” and “exciting” situation you inhabit is deceptive and is no longer serving you. In fact, as alluring as this lifestyle may seem, you know in your heart it is all a facade. So, it’s time for you to stop playing pretend and dive into more inviting waters. You were meant to be with likeminded company who loves, understands and supports you. You long to enjoy companionship that is welcoming, nurturing and reliable. So, ditch the superficial realm in which you currently dwell and venture out to find your real tribe. You may not be united with them right away, but you will feel a great sense of relief as you swim away.

Seven of Wands into Justice…
Dealing with idiocracy can be quite frustrating and today you are facing more than your fair share. I know you want to lash out and tell every one just how you feel about their nonsensical ideas, thoughts and actions, but that is not advised. Don’t play into their chaos and silliness -that is what they are hoping for - to suck you into the folly of it all and throw you off-course. You remain more powerful if you rise above it. So, take a deep breath, close your eyes, laugh at it all on the inside and know that you are right and they will soon discover that you are - the hard way and you will be able to sit back and watch it all unfold. You know what’s right and you know you ARE right. Despite being surrounded by fools, you hold all the power in this situation, my friend.

A Monday Night 3 Card Message…
The strength and spark of your passion is trying to align, but something is getting between you and a loved one. But, you are meant to be together. And by the way, is that a something or is that a someone? An additional element of fire that is misaligned can mute the power of your union and prevent you from fully experiencing the wholeness of one another. You will never fully see the flame and feel the warmth of your spirits fusing with that third thing in the way of what is supposed to be. Not sure you understand what I’m talking about? Welp, tonight is a chance to find out. Have an inclination? Ask. Bring it all out into the light. Think you already know - study the problem from all angles and really understand the complexities, so you can take action. You have the opportunity to rule each other and the world around you with passionate fervor. Don’t let something so small come between you and this chance to set the world on fire.

Two of Pentacles…
The week ahead will come with some minor ups and downs. You may be thrown a couple of curve balls, but it’s nothing that you can’t handle. Walk with confident ease, knowing that you can juggle any little thing that life hurls in your direction. But, really, if you are faced with obstacles, just maneuver around them with a spirit of acceptance. You got this. Your natural energy suggests that taking life in stride is the best path forward in this moment. You know that you can handle those minor hiccups, so don’t get anxious - just handle them with an easy shrug. Life is a beach and you are just out for a stroll - waves, clouds, rocks - they are all things you are ready to master. Juggle it all with style.

The Knight of Swords…
Busy life? Busy mind? If you were to stop and abruptly change your direction, what might you find yourself doing instead of what you are doing right now? Where might you be going? Who might you become? Big questions for a Saturday…I know. But, even the smallest shift in your direction can spark excitement in your day. Sometimes, you don’t have to stay on track. When you feel the inspiration just shift direction and charge into your new intention with fierce commitment. Even if you aren’t ready - even if you had different plans for your day or life and especially when you are unsure. Charge in with wild abandon - you can figure it all out when you get there or as you go. Try this today in the smallest of ways and see what magic unfolds.

The Eight of Swords…
Sometimes it takes a moment of melancholy and despair for you to find the magic you truly need. A prison of the mind will try to ensnare the heart in darkness so you will have to be open to receive the message. But, the answer will find you if you allow it into your sphere. When the light is full of shadows, you may not see it, so try to feel it’s protective guidance as it materializes for you. This might happen internally or externally, so sharpen your senses and be as receptive as you can to what is existing all around you. Let your spirit welcome the whisperings of the remedy and you will understand you were never truly in darkness.

The Four of Wands…
Reach high and build your expectations past your own limited view. If you need solutions and truly want to find solid ground, access your most creative thoughts and ideas and take action and dream beyond what is right under your nose. It’s time to defy boundaries and “think outside of the box” as they say. Climb with curiosity and fearlessness til you are so far away from the situation that you cannot see it through the clouds. Don’t just look for a solution - develop a new vision. Who knows what is there, but don’t you want to find out? It may seem impossible and it could be, but sometimes we have to reach beyond what is possible to really appreciate having our feet back on the ground. So, the way I see it, is that you have nothing to lose.

Is enough to show
