As we hike the steep incline of our week, we will be presented with challenges…peaks that feel ominous because we cannot see what lingers on the other side, grey skies that obscure the light and thoughts of defeat that might be painful. I know, this isn’t really the hopeful, exciting message that we hoped to receive about the energy of our week ahead (sigh). There’s a question here, too. Will we rise and meet these challenges or will we pretend they aren’t happening and hide in the shadows? Sometimes it’s best to accept the pain - to give in and not resist. Allow for this week’s discomfort to make you aware of what parts of your life are no longer serving you. Let the finality of that awareness pierce you to the core. Move through it and decide by the end of the week to explore what might be waiting for you on the other side of those treacherous peaks and grey clouds. The Empress surfaced for me this morning to reassure me, but also with a challenge.
