Card of the Day

Page of Swords…

The key to mastering October lies in realizing that you are the one who unlocks hidden doors. Trust in the dark, yet swift current of energy within you—it will carry you to unseen but enchanted places. Your true strength isn’t rooted in what you already know, but in your willingness to explore, learn, and evolve this month. Step into autumn as a student, but a sharp, focused one—intent on your own growth and success. The line between pupil and master is thin now. Don’t follow the season blindly—rise with its crisp winds, guided by your inner wisdom. Let your goals burn bright and clear, but remember: self-belief is your most powerful magic.

Page of Cups & Ten of Swords…

A special Two Card Tuesday to close out September, asking: "What is it time to release?" and "What is it time to welcome in?" as we shift into October.

It’s time to let go of any emotionally immature ways of relating to your experience. Trust that you do understand your emotions—and that you can respond to them with clarity and maturity. You are not a lost little lamb; you're far more self-reliant than that.

As we move into the new month, invite the radical idea that you can mentally let go of anything that no longer serves you. Picking up on bad energy from people or places? End the interaction—or walk away if you must. There’s no need to stay in draining, uncomfortable situations.

Instead, welcome in the truth that your inner clarity is as beautiful and expansive as a wide-open sky. Honor it. Say nowhen something doesn’t align. It will feel incredibly freeing. Hello, October!

The Four of Pentacles…

Stability and stagnation are close cousins. Today this card is asking you, “Are you preparing, or are you hiding?” If you're preparing, you're budgeting, saving wisely, building a foundation. You’re aware of what you have, and you're using discipline not out of fear, but from a clear vision for the future. If you're hiding, you’re hoarding. You may be mistaking control for safety, locking yourself into a pattern of "just in case" while the opportunities around you quietly pass by. Which is it? Monday is a good day to ponder this for yourself. Sometimes, preparing is a mask for hiding.
Sometimes, taking a risk is a form of preparation—one that teaches, stretches, and expands your capacity. You don't have to let go of everything.
But you might need to let go of the belief that holding on is the only way to stay safe.

The Empress…

Darling, I’m The Empress. You know — grace, glamour, power? That’s me. But let’s get one thing straight: this life of beauty and abundance? It’s built, not gifted.

Every little thing matters.
Every brushstroke, every word, every seed you plant — it all counts. The details? They’re everything.

You don’t need to make a scene to make magic. Just show up with heart. You want results? Start with care. Start with presence. Every gesture — a touch, a glance, a word — matters. That’s how beauty is built. That’s how you become unforgettable.

Don’t rush. Don’t force.
Create like a star: with love, intention, and a little sparkle no one can name. That’s how empires rise — quietly, lovingly, and fabulously.

So keep going. Keep caring. The spotlight? It’s coming.

And baby, you’re already glowing.

Nine of Wands and Star Card (Reversed)…

A little “tough love Tarot” on this Two Card Tuesday:

Just because you’ve done the work doesn’t guarantee success or recognition. You might feel like you’ve earned your moment, your spotlight—but life doesn’t always deliver it the way you expect. Your passion, effort, and relentless drive can go unseen. But if that lack of acknowledgment dims your inner light or shakes your belief in what's possible, you've already let it win.

Take an honest look: your defensiveness or need to constantly prove yourself might be part of what’s holding you back. The truth is, you already carry what you need to shine. You may not need to push so hard, shield yourself so tightly, or seek external validation.

Maybe—just maybe—it’s enough to witness your own brilliance and take joy in it, without needing anyone else to confirm it.

The Four of Wands (Reversed)…

When upright, the Four of Wands speaks of celebration, unity, homecoming, and shared joy. A structure built on harmony.

But reversed, the structure wobbles. What once felt like sanctuary may now feel suffocating. What seemed stable may show its cracks. You may find yourself scrambling to hold it all together, however - here is where the medicine lies:

Let it fall away.

Let go of the idea that completion has to look a certain way. Release the grip on traditions that no longer feel alive. You may be clinging to a vision of celebration that belongs to someone else — or a version of yourself that no longer fits. This isn’t a collapse. It’s a conscious clearing.

The walls fall not to destroy you, but to free you.

Let the framework fall away so something more aligned can rise.

“Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”
– Eckhart Tolle

Hierophant (Reversed) and The Five of Cups…

As adults, many of us carry emotional wounds without fully understanding their origins. Often, these burdens stem from childhood experiences—times we were hurt, shamed, or silenced. Take a moment to revisit those memories, not to dwell, but to observe.

Think back to moments when you felt small or powerless. In many of those instances, there may have been an authority figure—parent, teacher, caregiver—who used their power in ways that didn’t serve your well-being. Acknowledging that you may have been manipulated, controlled, or simply not protected can bring clarity to the shame, confusion, or guilt that still lingers.

Now, picture your younger self in those moments—scared, unsure, and just trying to make sense of the world. Send them love. Say to them:
“You are not to blame. You are not broken. You are strong, capable, and deeply loved.”

Healing begins when we offer our younger selves the compassion they never received. Facing our present-day struggles becomes easier when we remind the child within us: You deserved better then—and you deserve peace now.

“Self-compassion is simply giving the same kindness to ourselves that we would give to others.”— Christopher Germer

Five of Cups - Reversed…

It’s Monday Funday—though I’ve gotta admit, this one’s been a bit light on the “fun” for me. Still, no matter what curveballs the day throws our way, the best medicine is always a positive mindset. As we fall into fall, let’s keep that glass half full.

Put a smile on, focus on what you do have, and stay grounded in solutions. Don’t take things personally—just keep moving forward. You've got this. Glass = half FULL. 💪🍂

Page of Wands…

This Page of Wands 🔥 appears as a flicker of inspiration ✨, the first spark of movement 🌱, and the untamed curiosity that pulls you forward 🧭. But while this card is often associated with the desire to explore 🌍, today it asks you to focus — not on the horizon, but on the moment 🎯.

Think of a cat with a toy 🐈🧸. The world may be full of bigger, more dramatic things — birds outside the window 🐦, distant sounds 🔊, sunbeams shifting across the floor ☀️. But when that toy rolls or wiggles, every ounce of attention locks in 👀. The cat is present. Invested. Totally alive in that moment 💫.

You may be tempted to scatter your energy — to chase multiple things at once 💨 or abandon one interest for a shinier one ✨. But this Page asks: What if the treasure isn’t out there, but right here, flickering softly, waiting for you to pounce?🎁

Like the cat, be fascinated 😺. Be present 🧘. Be playfully obsessed 🎮. Stay with what has your interest — not out of obligation, but because it lights you up 🔥. Invest in the now, not the "maybe someday."

"Cats teach us that not everything in life needs a reason."– Garrison Keillor

Three Cards to Awaken the Weekend…

Feeling a little snoozy as the weekend rolls in? Same here—I could definitely use a jolt of inspiration to wake things up! If you're in need of a spark too, these three cards might just be the caffeine your weekend needs.

Drop the inner drama and lower that emotional drawbridge—there’s fun waiting on the other side! Don’t get stuck in analysis paralysis. Instead, jump into something—anything—and watch fresh ideas and adventures unfold like magic.

Call up your crew and make some plans—or if everyone’s ghosting, head out solo and stay open to meeting some delightfully weird and wonderful characters. The world’s full of them, and you’re one of them too.

Celebrate your quirks, welcome the unexpected, and who knows—this weekend might just turn into the most curious little party you didn’t know you needed.

Temperance…

I always feel a lot on this day each year, having been in NYC when the Towers fell. So I choose a card as a wish on this day. Today’s card is Temperance because Temperance stands between extremes. In the wake of pain, it offers healing. In the aftermath of destruction, it suggests balance. It asks us to mix what was once divided: grief and hope, fear and courage, past and future. It pours from one cup to another, endlessly, gently, as if to say: what we lost, and what we still hold, can coexist.

Temperance is not forgetting. It is not silence. It is the choice to respond, not with vengeance, but with vision. It is the hard, patient work of transforming anger into action, mourning into meaning, and division into unity.

Today, as we remember those we lost, and all that changed, let us invoke Temperance.

Let us be the angel on the card—feet on the earth, eyes to the horizon, hands making something new from all that was broken. Truthfully, this is the New York City I remember in days of this sorrow— a city where, in the face of heartbreak, strangers became family, and love rose from the rubble, lighting the way toward healing and renewal.

Nine of Wands - Reversed…

How was your Manic Monday?

I pulled this card first thing in the morning, and wow — the day just took over. One thing after another came flying at me, and despite all the prep I had done to stay ahead of the chaos, it felt like my efforts only added fuel to the fire.

All I could think was: Why does everything have to be harder than it needs to be? And why so much resistance from the very people who could make things easier for all?

If you had a day like that too — I feel you.

But here's what helped me (and what this card reminded me of): there's always a workaround.

Sometimes, the best move is to just throw your hands up, say “Sure, whatever,” and then quietly do it your way. Why waste energy fighting, only to be brushed off? Say yes — then make it work for you. Tuesday is a new day, friends. Do it the way you want. We’ve got this.

Three of Wands (Tarot) and No (Lenormand)…

I’m not usually one to enjoy being told “no,” but the message for this weekend is unmistakable. There’s a time for dreaming big, for gazing toward the horizon and imagining all the beauty and excitement that could be—but this weekend isn’t it.

Why waste your time longing for what could be, when there’s so much wonder to discover in what is? Stay grounded. Bring your focus back to the here and now. Inspiration doesn’t always live in far-off fantasies—it often shows up right in front of you.

This weekend, sink into the present moment, one breath at a time. Be fully open to the gifts life is offering you right now. Find joy in your current reality, and have fun embracing it for what it is.

And if what you see doesn’t thrill you? Shift your perspective. Sometimes the magic isn’t missing—it’s just waiting for you to notice it.

Judgement & Reversed Five of Swords…

Can you feel the pull of renewal—the quiet but persistent call to become who you truly are? Something within or beyond is urging you to rise into a more authentic version of yourself. Lately, your actions may have lacked deeper meaning or direction, but if you choose to respond to this call, you’ll find relief from the weight you’ve been carrying. You might be putting on a brave face, but inside, stress and sorrow have taken root. You don’t have to stay trapped in this cycle. Shed the skin of who you were pretending to be. Step through the threshold, and reclaim your brilliance. A brighter, wilder, truer version of you is waiting — cloaked in color, crowned in light, ready to rise.

Curiouser and Curiouser, indeed! This weekend, let curiosity be your compass and wonder your constant companion. The world is teeming with magic—twinkling just beyond the veil of the ordinary—and if you dare to wander off the well-trodden path, you might tumble headfirst into something delightfully unexpected.

While others rush about in a dizzying flurry of to-do lists and distractions, you, dear dreamer, are being called elsewhere… to follow the hush-hush whispers of the universe into places uncharted and marvelously mad.

There’s something waiting for you there—something you don’t yet know you need. A secret door, a Cheshire grin, a teacup-sized revelation. This curious little gift you’ve received is no ordinary token; it’s a key. A key to new realms, richer reflections, and whimsies yet to be imagined.

So don’t be afraid to get lost this weekend. Dance with the unexpected. Chase the impossible.
Because in the Wonderland of your life, the most magical things happen when you let go and fall.

You won’t regret it. Quite the contrary… you might just find exactly what you weren’t looking for.

The Empress…

The Empress arrives to remind you of the incredible power that lives within you—the power to grow, to nurture, to bring beauty, love, and abundance into the world simply by being you. Whether you’re birthing ideas, healing your heart, or building something from the ground up, you are in a season of becoming. And trust me—you are doing better than you think.

Reversed Judgement (Tarot) and Bear (Lenormand)…

Someone may be trying to take charge of your weekend plans, but remember—they can't make you do anything you're not up for. Right now, you're craving a break from everything that feels heavy or important. Why does every second of your life have to be meaningful or productive? Maybe this weekend, you’re just not in the mood for that kind of pressure. Maybe you just want to have fun. And that’s completely valid. So go ahead—tell that well-meaning but pushy friend or loved one to circle back on Monday. Let yourself unplug, drift, and enjoy without guilt, expectations, or consequences. Anything that is important enough will still be there snarling at you on Monday. Submit to your own version of bliss. Isn’t that what weekends are for?

Four of Wands - Reversed…

You’ve built something stable — or so it appears. The structure is sound, the celebrations have happened, the harmony is outwardly intact. But beneath the surface, the rhythm feels rehearsed. Predictable. Stale. Well -

question the foundation. Who decided this was your home, your path, your definition of success? Whose voice celebrates the milestones — yours, or someone else’s?

Balance, in this form, may have become a cage. Perhaps it’s time to disrupt the comfort, not for the sake of chaos, but for the sake of truth.

This is your permission to rattle the frame — not destroy it, but shake it. Let what’s weak fall away. Let what’s real endure. Let this be your quiet rebellion - a gentle riot.

The balance you’re meant to find won’t come from returning to what was — it will come from daring to disrupt what no longer serves you and others.
